At Xparig, we are proud to be one of the pioneers in the world of barefoot footwear in India. Our journey began with a deep appreciation for the natural connection between foot and earth, and we look forward to explore this scope through innovative and functional footwear.
From co-designing first barefoot sandals as early as 2020 in India to now pioneering to  bring elemental grounding for sandals in 2025.

Our designs are a harmonious blend of age-old craftsmanship and contemporary science, forging each shoe as a true piece of art—a tribute to movement, exploration, and the human spirit. Every pair is meticulously crafted to not only protect but also liberate, enabling wearers to move freely and naturally, whether on rugged trails or urban streets.

Xparig is founded by Harshad Rao, an accomplished mountaineering athlete who has scaled to highest peaks of the World. Drawing from his experiences of rising through ascents and descents, he envisioned a versatile, everyday barefoot footwear—an adaptable companion that seamlessly transitions from daily routines to adventurous escape.

Our team comprises industry-leading experts in design, craftsmanship, and merchandising, united by a commitment to creating exceptional barefoot shoes. Concept, sourced, designed, and made in India, our products are built to go globally.
